Case study

Sharpeye

A stripped-back WooCommerce store for fashion and music icon Barrie Sharpe, where nothing gets between the customer and the clothes.

Sharpeye online store homepage with a minimal white layout and a grid of jackets, shirts and caps

Barrie Sharpe is an icon of British fashion and music: a label owner, designer and author with a fiercely minimalist aesthetic. He wanted his ecommerce site moved to WooCommerce and stripped of every bell and whistle. No pop-ups, no noise. Straight to the shop, let the clothes talk.

What we did

  • Rebuilt the store on WooCommerce with a pared-back interface that puts the garments first
  • Migrated and standardised the full product catalogue and imagery
  • Set up payments and shipping profiles for different product types
  • Linked his blog, music and social channels into one home
  • Taught Barrie to upload his own products and content
  • Handle hosting, backups and ongoing maintenance

The result

A store as minimal as the brand itself, run day to day by its owner, with the platform costs of the old setup gone.
